Magic Cake

Probably the most popular early years fractions teaching aid used in schools & nurseries today, this fantastic Magic Cake enables children to develop hand-eye coordination, distinguish different colours, and understand fractions.

The cake segments are joined with Velcro inserts and can be "cut" with the supplied hardwood knife. A hardwood spatula is also provided to serve each portion.

A thick cardboard doily is provided which sits under the cake and demonstrates the divisions of 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8. The cake segments fit onto the doily to help children learn and understand the nature of fractions.

The coloured candles fit into each cake portion and the base of each candle hole is also coloured with either red, blue, yellow or green. This allows children to match the candle colour with the colour inside the cake segment.

The Magic Cake is manufactured from renewable hardwoods.
